Oscar-qualifying animation festival open to international short and feature films, with additional competition sections for student and debut work from Pan-Pacific and Asian regions.
Open to animated films only, with no restriction on technique. Short films and feature films are eligible for the main international competition sections, while additional sections include student and debut work from eligible Pan-Pacific and Asian regions, as well as commissioned films produced in Japan.
Films must be single-screen works and submitted online.
Films in languages other than Japanese and English must include English subtitles.
